City of Toronto report proposes measures to boost Toronto’s rental housing supply
Tomorrow (June 6) the City of Toronto will host a media briefing with Jag Sharma, Deputy City Manager, Development and Growth Services, and Abi Bond, Executive Director, Housing Secretariat, to provide an overview of the report, “Launching the Rental Housing Supply Program,” which seeks to advance the City’s goal of supporting 65,000 rent-controlled homes by 2030. This report is set to be considered by the Planning and Housing Committee on Thursday, June 13.

Time: 10.30 a.m.
Location: Committee Room #2, Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen St. W., second floor
The Rental Housing Supply Program staff report will be published before 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 6, on the City’s website: https://secure.toronto.ca/council/#/committees/2565/24478.
