Mayor Olivia Chow to launch the Toronto Community Crisis Service city-wide
Mayor Olivia Chow will be joined by City of Toronto staff and community partners to officially launch the Toronto
Community Crisis Service (TCCS) as a city-wide service.
Date: Thursday, September 26
Time: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (Mayor remarks at 11:30 a.m.)
Location: West Neighbourhood House, 248 Ossington Ave.
Note: Paid Parking can be accessed nearby at the Green P at 1117 Dundas St. W.
The TCCS is the City of Toronto’s newest and fourth emergency response service, providing free, confidential, in-person mental health support from mobile crisis teams to Toronto residents 16 years of age or older 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Launched as a pilot in early 2022, the service provides a model of mental health and addiction crisis response that is community-based, client-centred and trauma-informed.
