The City’s five golf courses are all open including Dentonia Park, Don Valley, Humber Valley, Scarlett Woods and Tam O’Shanter. New improvements at the Tam O’Shanter course this year include two new golf simulators that will be open year-round and a new full cart path.

Special programming for 2025
Each golf course offers a variety of special programming for golfers of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned players, as well as families. Programs and events this year include:
• 30 free learn-to-golf clinics for juniors, women and seniors
• 40 free community events
• 45 Junior Summer Camps for youth seven to 14 years of age
• League-play at all five courses including women’s-only leagues at all five courses

In addition, the multi-use facilities offer recreational opportunities such as movie nights, holiday parties, disc golf, hiking trails and dog walking in the winter months.

Golf’s growing popularity in Toronto
Golf continues to grow in popularity in Toronto with a record-high of approximately 248,000 rounds of golf played in 2024. Locals are attracted to the City’s courses because of their affordability, quality and ease of access from transit. Each golf course has its own characteristics, ensuring a unique experience for golfers of all levels.

Reservations and accessibility
Golfers are encouraged to book tee times up to seven days in advance through the City’s website. Rentals are available from the pro shop at each clubhouse. An accessible golf cart is available at Humber Valley at no cost to golfers with mobility needs which can be requested when booking a tee time.

Tee-off times vary throughout the season, with starting times staggered 10 minutes apart. As daylight hours increase, tee times will adjust to accommodate play from dawn to dusk.

More information about the City’s golf courses including booking options, schedules for events, programs and contact information for each course is available on the City’s website: www.toronto.ca/Golf.
