June 7, 2022 Special Municipal & Statewide Primary Election

There are several ways to cast your vote in this Election and you don’t have to wait until Election Day!

Returning a Vote-By-Mail (VBM) Ballot

- Return by Mail – Drop off your ballot at your local post office. The ballot must be postmarked by Election Day (June 7) and received within 7 days. No postage necessary.
- Drop off your VBM ballot at ANY . Voters can drop-off ballots 24-hours per day until 8:00 PM on June 7.
- The City of Manhattan Beach has two drop box locations available:
- Manhattan Beach Art Center Parking Lot - 1560 Manhattan Beach Blvd.
- Manhattan Beach Library North Entrance – 1320 Highland Ave.

- Take your VBM ballot to any once they open.
- 11 Day Vote Centers opened on May 28.
- 4 Day Vote Centers open on June 4.

Track It! – The California Secretary of State recommends signing up for This is a way for voters to track and receive notifications on the status of their VBM ballot. Voters can choose to receive automatic email, text, or voice call notifications about their ballot.

Voting In-Person in Manhattan Beach

- - LA County voters can vote at ANY Vote Center in the County.
- The City of Manhattan Beach will host two 4-day Vote Centers which allow for voting June 4-June 7:
- Manhattan Heights Community Center, Mt. Whitney Banquet Hall – 1600 Manhattan Beach Blvd.
- Joslyn Community Center, Auditorium - 1601 N. Valley Drive
- Hours of Operation for In-Person Voting: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM - June 4-June 6 and 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Election Day (June 7).
