City of Toronto to hold graduation ceremony for Toronto Fire Services’ Operations recruits
Interim Toronto Fire Chief Larry Cocco will welcome the newest group of firefighters to the City of Toronto at a graduation ceremony tomorrow.
Date: Friday, November 29
Time: 1 to 4 p.m.
Location: Toronto Fire and Paramedic Services Training Centre, 895 Eastern Ave.
The graduation ceremony will recognize the successful completion of a comprehensive training program by 97 recruits who will join the Toronto Fire Services’ (TFS) Operations teams.
TFS is the largest fire service in Canada and the city’s only all-hazards emergency response organization. TFS provides Toronto residents, visitors and businesses with a suite of world-class fire protection services that include public education, fire prevention, Ontario Fire Code enforcement and all-hazards emergency response.
