Deputy Mayor Ausma Malik (Spadina-Fort York) will be joined by City of Toronto staff to mark the one-year anniversary of the Toronto Community Crisis Service (TCCS) expanding across Toronto with an awards ceremony that honours front-line, dispatch and call-taking staff alongside the Community Anchor Partners who are integral to the service’s success.

Date: Tuesday, July 8
Time: 9:30 a.m. (Elected official remarks at approximately 10:05 a.m.)
Location: YWCA Toronto, Nancy’s Auditorium, 87 Elm St.

Note: Award ceremony will be hosted in Nancy’s Auditorium. Program begins at 9:30 a.m. and includes two performances in addition to awards. A 10-minute media availability will begin after Deputy Mayor Malik’s remarks at 10:12 a.m.

The TCCS provides free, confidential, in-person mental health support from mobile crisis teams city-wide to Toronto residents 16 years of age or older, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The TCCS is fully funded by the City and relies on close collaboration with five Community Anchor Partners to facilitate service delivery.
