Skate into 2025 with Mayor Chow and members of Toronto City Council
This Sunday, Toronto residents are invited to ring in the new year with a fun-filled afternoon of skating, hot chocolate and activities as part of the Annual New Year’s Skating Party, hosted by Mayor Olivia Chow and members of Toronto City Council. This free, all-ages celebration will take place simultaneously at four locations across the city, bringing the festivities into local communities.
Date: Sunday, January 5 Time: 1 to 5 p.m., with remarks at 1:05 p.m. Location: McCowan District Park Skating Trail, 150 McCowan Rd. RSVP: Media wishing to attend are requested to RSVP to media@toronto.ca by 4 p.m. tomorrow.
This year’s New Year’s skating party will also be held at the following locations - all from 1 to 5 p.m.: - North Toronto Memorial Community Centre, 200 Eglinton Ave. W. - Colonel Sam Smith Park Skating Trail, 65 Colonel Sam Smith Park Dr. - Nathan Phillips Square, 100 Queen St. W.
