City of Toronto to highlight Bike Month with Bike to Work Day group ride
Mayor Olivia Chow will be joined by other members of Council, City staff and representatives from Cycle Toronto and Bike Share Toronto to kick off Bike Month following four free Bike to Work Day group rides that finish in Nathan Phillips Square.
Date: Thursday, June 6
Time: Remarks to begin after 8 a.m.
Location: Nathan Phillips Square, 100 Queen St. W.
A photo opportunity will follow the remarks.
From June 1 to 30, Bike Month features dozens of bicycle-themed events across Toronto including a group ride along Toronto’s beautiful waterfront on June 22, cycling workshops, webinars, contests and social events. More information is available on the City’s website: toronto.ca/BikeMonth
