City of Toronto and Jumpstart unveil new accessible basketball courts
Tomorrow, Mayor Olivia Chow will join local children for a fun and inclusive basketball session to celebrate the launch of Toronto's newest accessible outdoor basketball courts at Confederation Park, in partnership with Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities (Jumpstart).
Date: Friday, June 27
Time: 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Location: Confederation Park, 250 Dolly Varden Blvd.
Parking: This will be an outdoor event. Please follow the path from parking lot to the basketball courts.
This milestone highlights a dedication to inclusive recreation shared by the City of Toronto and Jumpstart while also celebrating Scarborough’s first fully accessible basketball court.
